Education for Sustainable Development – Meeting in Vienna -November 2008

In November 2008, the “Bundesgymnasium” in Vienna and the “Robert Schuman Institut” in Eupen met to think about the question: « What means education for sustainable development? ».

During the Work session, we went back to the beginning of the concept of sustainable development. We tried to create links between the three pillars of sustainable development and the missions of the schools too.

We fixed our work on one specific goal:

Create links between:     - fundamentals learning

                                     - social competences

- knowledges and competences about S.D.

With this three topics, we have build indicators.

The first work is not finished yet but shows a good example of indicators.
